Andrew and I ( Catherine) have been married since 1992, we have two children Alexander and Lucinda.
Both of us were brought up with dogs, Andrew had an Old English Sheepdog and I had a Red Setter.
Our first family dog was a Chocolate Labrador very loving but hard work, when he unexpectedly died I said there would be no more dogs as the heartbreak was too much.
In 2003 Dylan a tri coloured came to live with us and within a few hours Andrew was smitten.
Lucinda asked if she could train Dylan for junior handling, we are very lucky we can walk to a ring craft class.
Felicity Freer who takes the class is well known as a trainer and handler so we were in good hands.
It soon became clear that Dylan was not destined for the show ring and why should he be we had bought him as a pet. We started going to shows and got to know a lot of people.
In April 2006 Miletree Touch of Love in Calonlan ( Poppy) came to live with us.
She was a Brilliant introduction into the world of showing and also proved herself as a mother.
This was the start of our obsession with cavaliers, cavaliers have taken over our lives.
We are members of The Cavalier Club and various other regional clubs.
As we live in Hampshire we are most active in the Southern club.
Our aim is to produce Consistently healthy, happy sound beautiful dogs.
After about a year I relented I hated the gap that had been left. There was one condition I had to choose the breed this time. When I told Andrew I wanted a cavalier his reaction was I’m not walking a girly dog.
